How to do a Patch test
We prioritize the safety and education of our customers, so here is an easy to follow guide.
Step 1 : On clean skin apply a small amount of the product on
- Inside of the forearm
- or behind the ear
- or the side of your neck (best for facial products)
For wash off products leave on for 5 to 10 mins and then rinse the area, for leave on products just apply and leave it on without washing.
DO NOT USE PRODUCTS ON OPEN CUTS & BROKEN SKIN.
Test one product in one area, not multiple in the same area.
Step 2 : Do not cover the area and let it sit on the skin and observe for the next 48 hrs. If you by any case have extremely sensitive skin that is prone to react to even the mildest products please observe for an additional 24 hours. If no reactions occur you can assume at your discretion, it is safe to incorporate these products into your routine.
What are reactions? What am I looking for?
Stop using the product if you see:
- Redness
- Itching or burning
- Tiny bumps or rash
- Swelling

- Not spraying perfumes directly onto the skin.
- Be mindful of the fabric on your towels, and pillows.
- Just cleanse, moisturise, Spf
- Try doing your oral routines before cleansing the face, this can reduce irritation to the area around the mouth and hyperpigmentation by removing any toothpaste remnants, and then go in with your skin care and actives.
- Ditch the loofas! Yes we said it, they are a breeding ground for bacteria.
- We know that one popular tip that goes your face and neck are one unit, but what about the ears? Do not forget to use your skincare and spf around them too.
- Limiting the use of waterproof makeup, especially around the eyes on a day to day basis.
- Let your skin care absorb for 5-10 mins before going to bed at night.
- If you have sensitive skin around your eyes and mouth and do use actives, try using a thin layer of moisturizer around those areas before going in with your actives. This reduces irritation.
